Leslie Ullman's first book of poems, Natural Histories, won the Yale Younger Poets Prize in 1978. Her other books are Dreams by No One's Daughter and Slow Work Through Sand, co-winner of the 1997 Iowa Poetry Prize. She has been awarded two National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships. Her work has appeared in the New Yorker, The Nation and Poetry. She teaches at the University of Texas, El Paso, and at Vermont College's M.F.A. Program. SALONS:
