Billy Collins, U.S. Poet Laureate 2001-2003, is our featured guest at the Writing Salon in Catalunya, our first ever to be held in this most exotic, dramatic, and culturally explosive corner of Spain. We will enjoy Billy's covivial company for six days in the beautiful medieval manor house of L'Avenc, perched on the edge of a gorge in the magnificent mountains outside of Barcelona.

We will be joined by the painter Jackson Smith, who has recently completed a series of portraits of thirty preeminent American poets. James Nave and Allegra Huston will host their signature Writing Salon workshops, and will be joined by guest faculty Diana Whitney.
